A LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PARTICIPATES IN THE ECONOMICS AND ENVIRONMENT CONFERENCE IN TURKEY

Prof. Dr. Nadwa Hilal Judeh, a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, participated in the Economics and Environment Conference, which was held in the city of Antalya, Turkey, for a period of 9-12/11/2023.

The participation included presenting a research paper entitled ((A future vision for the environmental footprint and the transition towards a sustainable economy, international experiences with reference for Iraq)).

The research aimed to shed light on the environmental footprint as it is a sustainability indicator that indicates the relationship between human consumption and Earth’s resources, and it is a tool for answering various questions about the amount of available natural resources, the amount of their use and the rate of use, so living must be within the limits of the planet Earth’s capacity and it has been done.
