THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON ((THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL COSTS ON EVALUATING FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE))

The Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah Organized on Tuesday 14/11/2023, a panel discussion on ((The impact of social and environmental costs on evaluating financial performance)) attended by Assist. Prof. Fayhaa Abdel Khaleq Mahmoud. 
The seminar aimed to demonstrate the impact of social and environmental costs on financial performance evaluation indicators, including total income and social return on Investment. .
The seminar touched on the concept of social costs and the concept of Environmental costs and the meaning of evaluating financial performance. This study was applied to oil companies and the study concluded that there is an impact of social and environmental costs on financial performance.
