THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS SEMINAR ON “ETHICS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH”
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Department of Statistics, organized an awareness-raising seminar on (the ethics of scientific research) on Sunday 12/11/2023 in which Lect. Dr. Asmaa Ayoub Yacoub) lectured.
The seminar aims to shed light on ensuring that scientific research is conducted in ways characterized by integrity and credibility, respecting the rights of research participants and ensuring their safety and privacy, in addition to ensuring that natural resources and data are used responsibly and sustainably and that the results are published in a transparent and open manner to all.
In conclusion, the seminar recommended maintaining integrity and transparency and the necessity of adhering to national and international laws and regulations related to scientific research, in addition to using natural resources and data in a responsible and sustainable manner, and exchanging knowledge in a reliable and documented manner.
