THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS-RAISING SEMINAR ON SELF-DEVELOPMENT AND INCREASING SELF-CONFIDENCE
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Department of Management Information Systems, organized on Monday 6/11/2023 an awareness-raising seminar on (self-development and increasing self-confidence)
The seminar which was lectured by Lect. Dr. Jawad Ejbari Abdullah, a lecturer in the management information Systems Department, aimed to highlight the necessity of learning a new language and discovering a new hobby, in addition to developing the skills that a person is proficient in, waking up early, and maintaining focus to accomplish basic tasks and duties, which is considered an essential part of increasing self-confidence.
In conclusion, the seminar recommended the necessity of enhancing positive energies, staying away from negative people and not being influenced by them, in addition to looking for fun things that you are good at doing from time to time, as this helps in getting rid of all negative thoughts and greatly increasing self-confidence.
