THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS-RAISING LECTURE ON (RATIONALIZATION USE OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY).
On Tuesday 31/10/2023, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Administrative Systems Department and the General Electric Power Transmission Company in the Southern Region, held an awareness-raising lecture on (rationalizing the use of electrical energy.)
The lecture, which was lectured by Prof. Thaer Ali Hamoudi from the General Electric Power Transmission Company in the Southern Region, aimed to shed light on the concept of rationalization, which is defined as the optimal use of resources and funds, moderation and balance in spending, striving to achieve human benefit, and not exaggerating in expenditure through conscious procedures and plans. Directing the individual to the best path to achieve sustainable development aimed at preserving the rights of individuals in the present and use it rationally.
In conclusion, the lecture recommended the optimal use of available energy resources through a set of practices and procedures that lead to reducing the consumption of these resources, taking into account people’s comfort and their productivity.
