A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSES ((THE IMPACT OF MICRO AND TOTAL FACTORS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE IRAQ STOCK EXCHANGE INDEX FOR THE PERIOD FROM ((2005-2021)
a master’s thesis in the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discusses on Sunday  24/9/2023 ((The impact of micro and total factors on the performance of the Iraqi stock market index for the period from 2005-2021)).
The researcher’s thesis, Ali Muhammad Lazem Al-Sahlani, aimed to identify the micro-financial factors (liquidity and profitability indicators at the banking sector level (or the macro-economic factors represented by variables, oil exports, the interest rate, the exchange rate, the money supply, and the inflation rate) that have the most influence on the performance of the financial market in practical reality. 
The thesis recommended giving importance to fundamental analysis studies, macroeconomic factors, and technical analysis (micro-financial factors) as tools for early assessment to predict financial crises and to ensure economic stability.
