University of Basrah  decides to open a fund to support students to help those who are unable to study financially
The University of Basra decided to work with the Student Support Fund to give them the opportunity to complete their studies and alleviate the effects of financial destitution that prevents them from completing their scientific studies.
The University’s Finance Department stated that the fund will be opened to donors in the governorate, including oil and investment companies in the governorate, as official letters were sent to the local government and companies located in the governorate to obtain greater support for the university’s grants within the student support funds in colleges.
