A LECTURER FROM BASRA UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE SIXTH CONFERENCE OF ARAB STATISTICIANS-JORDAN/AMMAN:                                                                             

Dr. Nadwa Hilal Joudeh a lecturer in the Department of Economics - College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra participated in the Sixth International Conference of Arab Statisticians held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan - Amman under the title ((Harmony of Statistics and Technology Towards Sustainable Development)) with her research tagged ((Including child workers in the development agenda Sustainable 2030 case study in Basra Governorate)).  Joudeh indicated that the aim of the study is to eradicate poverty and hunger, as poverty is the main factor that drives children to work in an attempt to obtain the source of income, and the study also reached a set of conclusions and recommendations that contribute to addressing such cases.

120 research working papers were participated in the conference, and there was a participation of the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Arab countries and North Africa.

Finally, one quality was honored by the Central Organization and the Union of Arab Statisticians and another by the Sudanese delegation
