THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A PANEL DISCUSSION ON (THE IMPACT OF OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE ON DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION POLICIES THROUGH THE COST OF CAPITAL)
On Tuesday 23/5/2023 the Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on (The Impact of Ownership Structure on Dividend Distribution Policies through the Cost of Capital).
The panel, in which the two lecturers lectured, Prof. Dr. Fatima Jassim and Assist. Prof. Dr. Elham Jaafar Al-Shawi, aimed to identify the impact of the ownership structure on Dividend Distribution Policies through the Cost of Capital.
The panel in touch several axis the first one touched the methodology research and variables research, ownership structure, dividend distribution policy, cost of capital) and the second axis is the practical method and how to measure the variables, which included a sample of three countries: Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
