THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOLDS ITS FIRST WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP
On Monday 3/4/2023 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah held its first workshop on women’s entrepreneurship within a series of workshops before launching the registration link for enterpreneurship projects, which will be launched in the coming days, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Presidency of the University of Basrah.
The workshop, which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Nadwa Hilal Jouda assistant dean of scientific affairs and attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Shatha Ahmed Alwan, a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, aims to identify the reality of entrepreneurship and success stories, whether in the Arab countries or in Iraq.
The workshop recommended defining the idea of the enterpreneurship project and how it is possible to start work and succeed, and to invite the University of Basrah to support many successful projects for women in the university.
