BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON THE FEDERAL BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2019 ANALYTICAL VISION:

 The University of Basra organized a scientific seminar on (the federal budget for the year 2019 an analytical vision) with the participation of researchers and specialists, and the symposium included a lecture presented by Dr. Youssef Al-Asadi, Dr. Nabil Al-Marsoumi and Dr. Shaaban al emara in which they addressed the prejudices that befell the generous Basra Governorate, which finances the budget by about (80%) of Revenue, but it gets very little from these resources.

 The seminar discussed the state's general budget for the year 2019, which was acquired by the operational budget (consumer spending) at the expense of investment spending. In addition, the operating budget mostly went to salaries and the like, as it reached about (61%) of the total operating, while the investment spending was directed By (50%) of it to the oil sector for the purpose of paying the amounts related to the entitlements of foreign companies operating in the licensing rounds, and the remainder directed to the sectors of electricity, armament capabilities and the development of regions.  Sectors are negligible.

 At the end of the seminar the researchers called for granting Basra Governorate its legitimate rights.
