THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOLDS A COURSE ON THE BASICS OF DATA ANALYSIS USING THE SPSS STATISTICAL PROGRAM:
On Tuesday 14/3/2023, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah held a training course on the basics of data analysis using the SPSS statistical program.
The course in which Dr. Bahaa Abdel-Razzaq Qasim lectured aimed at introducing the theoretical concepts of some statistical measures and indicators, represented by descriptive statistics, linear regression analysis, averages tests, and how to apply them using the SPSS statistical program.
The course, which was held for a group of researchers from university and institute lecturers, postgraduate students, and those interested in data analysis, included several axes on descriptive statistics, linear regression, and finally averages tests.
The course recommended that researchers should familiarize themselves with the theoretical concepts of statistical tools in the beginning, and then learn how to calculate them using the SPSS program.
