BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES AN EXTENSION SEMINAR ON MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION (ANGINA PECTORIS)

 The Division of Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized a counseling seminar on myocardial infarction (angina pectoris) for the faculty members and students with the participation of researchers and specialists. The symposium included a lecture presented by Dr.  Mohsen Saghir Ghalib and Dr.  Maysaa Banai, during which they dealt with a lecture on the causes of angina, the most important of which is smoking, as it is a major cause of many diseases and their symptoms, and how to avoid infection and stay away from them.

 The aim of holding this symposium was comprehensive awareness of angina pectoris, directing it to see a specialist doctor and adhere to the necessary treatment, wishing all health and wellness.

 At the end of the seminar, certificates of appreciation were presented by the Dean of the College, Dr. Naeem Sabah Jarrah, to the lecturers, thanking the lecturers for their cooperation and attendance.
