BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON MANAGERIAL LEADERSHIP:

 The College of Administration and Economics at Basra University organized a scientific symposium on Managerial Leadership, with the participation of researchers and specialists, given by Dr. Abbas Abdul Hamid, supervisor of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Assessment Division.

 The symposium aims to demonstrate concepts, skills and fundamentals of administrative leadership at the level of higher departments at Basra University.

 The symposium included several axes, the researcher discussed in the first axis what is administrative leadership and who is the leader, and in the second axis he dealt with the difference between leadership and management and how there can be effective overlap between them, and in the third axis between what are leadership styles.  The leadership role of the manager.

 The researcher in the symposium called for the administrative leadership to be one of the important and fundamental issues of concern to the higher administrations at the university, and therefore it is necessary to continue to communicate and focus on it in the lectures of the seminars and conferences held by the university.
