THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOLDS A SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ON MODREN TECHNIQUES OF ACCOUNTING AND BANKING INFORMATION SYSTEMS:
On Tuesday 20/12/2022, the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics held its scientific seminar tagged (Modern Technologies for Accounting and Banking Information Systems AIS & BIS Using ERP web. Application).
The seminar which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Muntazer Fadel Al-Battat and was attended by (assist. Lect. Ahmed Abdel Karim Al-Yassin and assist. Lect. Ahmed Sami Al-Derawi), aimed to educate and assist students in obtaining a job opportunity according to the requirements of the modern digital market.
The seminar included three axes, the first axis dealt with an introduction to accounting and banking information systems and clarified the positive and negative  in the presence of traditional and modern systems. The second axis dealt with the concept of ERP. The third axis presented a practical application to clarify the types of software systems that help institutions to automate and manage basic business processes to achieve optimal performance. Where ERP software and data flow coordinates the business operations of the company as a whole.
The seminar recommended linking the theoretical aspects with the applied practical aspects, whether traditional or modern, for the purpose of facing recent developments and changes in the requirements of job opportunities.
