A LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PARTICIPATES IN AN AWARENESS WORKSHOP ON COMBATING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
A lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah Prof. Dr. Nadwa Hilal Jouda participated in an awareness workshop on combating violence against women, which was held in the College of Arts under the slogan (Sustainable Peace in the Color of Orange) in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit in the Iraqi Council of Representatives in the Basra office and the Lotus cultural Association Feminism on Saturday 10/12/2022.
The participation included giving a lecture on general concepts about gender responsive budgeting that responsive to the social type.
The lecture aimed at raising awareness of gender issues, analyzing the impact of government budgets and policies, and reformulating government budgets and national policies to promote gender justice.
