BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES SYMPOSIUM ON THE IRAQI –CHINA AGREEMENT

 The College of Administration and Economics at Basra University organized on Thursday 1/9/2020 a scientific symposium entitled “An Economic Reading of the Iraqi-Chinese Agreement,” delivered by Prof. Nabil Al-Marsoumi and Prof. Youssef Abd Ali Al-Asadi, Prof. Shaban Saddam Al-Emara, with the participation of researchers and specialists.

 The symposium aims to shed light on the positive and negative aspects of the agreement.

 The symposium included several axes, the first axis discussed the general features of the Chinese agreement, the second axis dealt with the development of economic relations between Iraq and China, and in conclusion the last axis dealt with the mechanisms of the agreement and its evaluation.

 At the conclusion of the symposium, the researchers called for the need for the government to publish the original text of the agreement and poll the opinion of Iraqi universities on this agreement and ways to develop it to serve the Iraqi economy.
