BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON THE REALITY OF THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SECTOR IN IRAQ AND WAYS TO DEVELOP IT DURING THE PERIOD 2015-2018:

 The College of Administration and Economics at Basra University organized, on Tuesday 4/2/2020, a seminar on the reality of the public transport sector in Iraq and ways to develop it during the period 2015-2018, which was delivered by the assistant prof (Adnan Habib Arouj), with the participation of the department's lecturing staff.

 The seminar aims to develop the public transport sector in Iraq through future strategies in order to develop the infrastructure, increase revenues, and try to overcome the obstacles facing this sector.

 The seminar included the presentation of indicators for each branch of the public transport sector, namely the land, sea and air transport sector.

 At the end of the seminar, the researcher called for the necessity of developing future plans and strategies for developing the public transport sector in Iraq.
