BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES A COURSE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE STATEMENT OF CASH FLOWS:

 The Accounting Department at Basra University, College of Administration and Economics, organized a training and development course on the importance of the cash flow statement.

 The course provided by each of the assistant professor in the accounting department, Dr. Muhannad Al-Muzaffar, and the lecturer Dr. Kifah Jabbar, included several axes in which the first axis explained the emergence of the statement of cash flows and its concept, and the second axis presented the difference between profits and cash flows and the importance and objectives of the statement of cash flows and methods of preparing them. The course aims to introduce employees to one of the accounting disclosure lists. It recommended the need to involve more state employees and the private sector in such a session in particular and the current trend is to know the financial capacity of companies and individuals.
