A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH IS LOOKING AT (AN ECONOMIC STUDY OF HYDROELECTRIC POWER IN THE IRAQI ECONOMY):
On Thursday 19/5/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a higher diploma in energy economics on (an economic study of hydroelectric power in the Iraqi economy for the period 2010-2020).
The aim of the student's research (Hadeer Malik Khalil) is to clarify the important role of the renewable energy sector in achieving development and that it represents the main pillar of development by meeting the necessary energy needs.
The researcher concluded that the development achieved in the economics of renewable energy especially hydroelectricity, remains below the required level in Iraq and remains unable to replace traditional energy in achieving sustainable development.
