BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZING A PANEL DISCUSSION ON (THE ROLE OF GOVERNANCE IN DEVELOPING THE PERFORMANCE OF GOVERNMENTAL BANKS/ A FIELD STUDY IN AL RAFIDAIN BANK)  
The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized on Tuesday 12/4/2022 a panel discussion on (the role of governance in developing the performance of government banks / a field study in Rafidain Bank).
The panel in which Prof. Dr. (Ahmed Jassim Muhammad) lectured, aimed to know the extent to which banking governance is applied in Rafidain Bank, to identify the strengths of Rafidain Bank as a result of the application of banking governance and to reveal the obstacles to the application of banking governance facing Rafidain Bank.
The panel touched upon the need to transfer greater powers to the delegate's offices and managers, and to establish a dedicated committee for governance at Rafidain Bank.
