A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT BASRA UNIVERSITY EXAMINES THE ROLE OF STRATEGIC PLANNING IN IMPROVING ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE, AN APPLIED STUDY IN THE GENERAL COMPANY FOR ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION IN THE SOUTHERN REGION:
On Tuesday 22/3/2022 the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra discussed the research of the Higher Diploma in Strategic Planning, which is tagged (the role of strategic planning in improving organizational performance, an applied study in the General Company for Electricity Transmission in the Southern Region).
The research of the student (Anwar Jassim Abdul-Hussein) aims to clarify the role of strategic planning in organizational management as one of the types of thinking that mixes the past and present situation with future ambition to chart the course of the organization and its requirements of plans, policies and procedures.
The researcher concluded that strategic planning is a necessary process to raise the level of organizational performance and that the integration of the planning process with its variables, elements and requirements ensures improvement in overall performance.
