THE ASSISTANT DEAN FOR SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS OF THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRA PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST NATIONAL CONFERENCE TO CURB EXTREMISM AND TERRORISM:
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saddam Abdul-Sahib participated in the first national conference to curb extremism and terrorism which was held in Karbala in the Guardians’ Hall at the al-Hussainiya Holy Shrine, which was held under the slogan “Al-Qaeda and ISIS are a threat to community peace for the period 22-23/2/2202.”
The participation included a joint with Assist. Prof. Dr. Radi Obaid Naghmesh, Teaching at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, entitled (The Economic policies required in post-ISIS Iraq)
The joint research aims to propose strategies and policies that aim to reduce the factors supporting extremism and terrorism in the long term and focus on addressing poverty and unemployment issues as one of the most important issues that help in improving the economic reality as well as improving education and health systems.
Providing job opportunities in order to enhance family cohesion and raise a conscious generation away from extremism, as well as activating social programs determining the curricula, especially the curricula of ethics and correct ideals in primary education.
