A MASTER’S THESIS AT BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES THE IMPACT OF IFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE ON IMPROVING JOB PERFORMANCE
On Monday 20/12/2021 the College of Administration and Economics at Basra University discussed the thesis on the impact of information technology infrastructure in improving job performance: The interactive role of organizational support, an applied study in the General Company for Ports of Iraq.
The thesis of the researcher (Noor Salah Hassan) aims to improve the job performance of the employee in the company under study by improving his performance of the tasks entrusted to him and described in the job description and engaging in cooperative behaviors with colleagues at work and the completion of additional tasks and other voluntary behaviors.
The thesis concluded that the information technology infrastructure obtained the highest relative importance among the variables of the study, which means that they have a desire to develop it and raise higher levels for its availability in all the company’s facilities, and there is a positive, statistically significant effect of the information technology infrastructure, contextual performance, and the negative impact on the performance of the opposite behavior.
