On Monday 13/12/2021 the Associate Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Saddam Abdul-Saheb participated in a joint dialogue with the World Bank Group.
The dialogue aims to discuss the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector and sustainable development in Iraq.
Dr. Ahmed suggested through the dialogue the adoption of some policies in order to mitigate the effects of climate change and mitigate the damage to the working classes, especially in the agricultural sector.
It is worth noting that the issue of sustainable development is one of the important topics that the white paper focused on and economic policy in general, but the current obstacles prevent its realization unless there are real treatments in order to facilitate all the various measures to gradually achieve them.
