BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES AN ECONOMIC SSCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM ON THE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF MARINE NAVIGATION IN KHOR ABDULLAH    

The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, headed by the head of the Economics Department, Prof. Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, organized on Thursday 16/12/2021, a scientific and economic symposium on the economic importance of maritime navigation in Khor Abdullah.
The symposium aims to demonstrate the economic importance of navigation in Khor Abdullah.
The symposium which was moderated by Assistant Professor Ban Ali Al-Mashhadani, and lecture by Dr. Najm Al-Din Abdullah and the lecturerAdnan Habib, touched on the importance of completing the Great Port of Faw project and implementing the Dry Canal because of its economic importance to the trade movement in Iraq and supplementing the general budget with more than six billion dollars annually.
