A LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRA PARTICIPATES IN AN INTERNATIONAL STATISTICAL CONFERENCE:
The teaching staff at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra (Assist. Prof. Dr. Bahaa Abdul-Razzaq Qassem) participated in the sixteenth (third international) conference of the Iraqi Society for Statistical Sciences in cooperation with Al-Rafidain University College for Statistical Applications ICA2021 under the slogan (Statistical Standards Pillar of Monitoring, Analysis and Decision-making) which was held on 15/11/2021.
The participation included a scientific research presentation in conjunction with Prof. Dr. Mahdi Wahhab Neeama from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala
(Estimation of the optimum period for the replacement of machines using the age replacement model under the minimum cost criterion)
The research aims to employ the Campbell-Wipple left-truncated composite probability distribution in the development of mathematical models for estimating the optimal period for the preventive life replacement of machines and equipment under a less costly criterion.
