THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRA ORGANIZES A PANEL DISCUSSION ON PRICING MECHANISMS FOR IRAQ CRUDE OIL EXPORTED TO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS:
The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized on Thursday 11/11/2021 a panel discussion on pricing mechanisms for Iraqi crude oil exported to international markets.
The panel discussion which was lectured by Prof. Dr. Nabil Jaafar Abdel Reda and directed by Prof. Dr. Yahya Hammoud Hassan, aims at how to determine the price of a barrel of crude oil in international markets.
The panel discussion touched on the history of pricing Iraqi oil, the factors affecting the trends of the global oil market on the one hand and the factors affecting the pricing of Iraqi oil on the other hand, as well as the mechanisms of allocating and selling Iraqi oil.
