THE ADMINISTRATIVE DEANS’ ASSISTANT PRESENTS A SCIENTIFIC AND ECONOMIC SYMPOSIUM AT THE BASRA INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR:
The Assistant Prof. Dr. Naeem Sabah Jarrah presented on Sunday 24/10/2021 a scientific and economic symposium entitled (Removing zeros from the Iraqi dinar... a formal or real measure to reduce inflation rates of the Iraqi economy), as part of the activities accompanying the Basra International Book Fair, which is held on the ground  Exhibitions in the city of Basra, and the symposium was moderated by Dr. Bilal Kazem Al-Jawadi, and Dr. Yousef Abdul Ali Al-Asadi participated in the presentation of the symposium the administrative assistant of the Basra University of Oil and Gas.
The symposium included two main axes the first axis dealt with the beginning of the emergence of the first Iraqi dinar by the currency committee and the economic and political conditions that affected the Iraqi dinar and its value against foreign currencies, and then presented the conditions that led to the addition of zeros, and the second axis touched on the concept of raising zeros, subtracting advantages and disadvantages and presenting experiences  International for selected countries and what are the motives and determinants for raising zeros from the Iraqi dinar.
