THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS ORGANIZES AN HONORARY CEREMONY ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY:
On Sunday 12/3/2023 the Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a ceremony honoring the college members and female employees on the occasion of International Women's Day.
The ceremony aimed at the need for equality between men and women in various scientific and practical fields, and to achieve the foundations of justice for the pillar of society.
The ceremony, which opened with verses from the Holy Quran, included standing for a minute of silence in remembrance and appreciation of the spirit of the late Nidal Yasser, a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, and the Iraqi national anthem was played.
In a speech by Mrs. Ilham Nasser Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Lotus Women's Cultural Association, she indicated that this event was agreed upon by all countries of the world to encourage and honor women for their achievements and as a reminder of their outstanding role, contributions and sacrifices in many fields.
At the end of the ceremony, a group of female lecturers and employees of the college were honored, praising us for their efforts to serve our charitable university and college.
