The department was founded in (1984-1985), where it graduated (27) batch of campaign accounting bachelor's degree in science .The higher studies opened in the academic year (1987-1988) where it was accepted (6) students in the first batch to study Masters in section, and the doctoral study of the academic year (1996-1997) accepted (2) in the first batch .Bringing the number of campaign master's degree graduates (89) and (19) the number of graduates holding doctorates
