The College of Administration and Economics is located within the complex of Bab Al-Zubair colleges, which is one of the practical sites of the University of Basra.

It consists of eleven buildings, seven of them are administrative buildings to carry out various administrative tasks and activities, and four of them are divided between a compound for classrooms, a recreational club for students and a cafeteria.

The College of Administration and Economics, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, and its administrative assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Naim Sabah Jarrah, sought to provide various means of comfort and to create a study environment that suits the requirements of academic and scientific achievement.
