A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES ((THE FUTURE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN IRAQ AND ITS IMPACT ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT)):
The research of the Higher Diploma at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra discussed (the future of renewable energy in Iraq and its impact on sustainable development), the researcher Amna Taher Jassim’s research included the conceptual framework of renewable energy and the development of renewable energy in the world .
The research aims that Iraq enjoys renewable energy sources in particular solar energy, wind energy and bioenergy, but to the present time these energies are not used, except for its use of water energy and renewable energy sources are still limited and limited to studies, analyzes, research and the development of projects under implementation.
The research concluded that Iraq despite its privilege in the availability of renewable energy resources especially solar and wind energy, as well as water energy still uses it to a limited extent on water energy and largely on traditional energy.
